Rain rain go away
Saturday, April 29th, 2006After Thursday’s spectacular ride at Lebanon Hills, it’s going to be cold and dreary all weekend. Shoot. Why can’t this happen during the week, when I’m not anywhere close to a window? Hopefully, the trail will be open again by Monday.
I haven’t started commuting to work by bike yet. It’s still too cold in the morning to ride without a jacket on. I hope May’s a bit warmer. May’s a good month, though. 
So, Bethany and I caved finally and picked up one of those high def TVs. No…not a flat panel type. It’s got a tube. Besides being big, at first I didn’t think much of it…until last night. Trevor brought over his XBox 360, which we hooked up in 1080i mode. "Holy crap!" were the first words out of my mouth. For the first time ever, I’ve seen a console that held a torch to PC gaming. Granted, it’s a torch to PC gaming 3 years ago, but console people are in the dark about where gaming has gone on the PC.
