Still carrying the Joomla banner
Saturday, March 18th, 2006No, I haven’t switched over to Drupal yet. The recent IRC chat about the progress of 1.1 made me feel a lot better about the progress of Joomla. I know that promises about functionality are different than actual proven funcitionality, but I like the direction that Joomla says it’s heading.
JoomlaLib is coming along nicely. Michiel and I have been working hard on writing and extending it. Since they don’t depend on Joomla 1.1 APIs, Michiel will be using the logging (JLLog) and configuration management (JLConf) classes with the next release of his g2bridge (even Mambo compatible!). Expect a link to the JoomlaLib wiki in a couple days

Joomlalib sounds exciting. It’ll be exciting to see what you have come up with.
PS: For those of us with poor eyesight, your website could have a better contrast between text color and background color.
