Recent Difficulties
Thursday, January 26th, 2006The last couple days have been pretty difficult. Monday afternoon, I instantaneously felt sick, and I haven’t been able to ditch the sick feeling since then. It’s strange: first I’ll feel really energetic. Then, within a minute or two, I’ll feel like crawling under my desk and sleeping. It’s really been taking a toll on me to go through so many highs and lows in such a short time.
I’m not sure if it was the right decision or not, but I played soccer tonight. I felt pretty good afterward, but a couple people said I looked like hell. *sigh* I wish I could just feel better and get back to my daily life.
Because of being sick, I’m behind on BSQ Sitestats. It’s taken 100% of my energy to be effective at my real job, which is always my priority. The nice thing about free software is that I don’t have to deliver if I don’t want to (or I can’t). Finding translators has been a real bitch too. It seems that every request to the Joomla translation team falls upon deaf ears. However, the Dutch Joomla team is incredibly responsive, and they bend over backwards to make sure that your component delivers in Dutch…very admirable!
