First Snow

It was bound to happen eventually. It’s been in the low 40’s for the last week or two, and it rained most of today. I’m glad we finally have snow up here in the Twin Cities. The last few winters got so cold so fast that we didn’t get any precipitation.
So, I’m pretty sure I’m never having sushi again! We went out for Adam R’s 25th birthday on Sunday night at Martini Blu in downtown Minneapolis. Everything seemed great until we got home to Burnsville. Then, the fun started.
First, I just felt kind of gassy, like there was something brewing in my stomach. Then nothing changed. I just felt gassy and crappy all night. I woke up around 4:30 in the morning after having terrible nightmares, a common occurence when my body aint right. I was wide awake with no hope of falling asleep, so I just went to work.
9 hours of ANSI C later (2:30 PM), I came back and crashed. I still felt gassy and icky when I woke up at 5:30 PM. Ugh. I finally felt a little better before I went to sleep last night, but today, because of all of the lost sleep, I started to get sick this afternoon. Argh. I just can’t win. Oh well though, at least the snow outside is pretty. Maybe I’ll post a pic of it tomorrow night.
