More Winnipeg Photos

Not that they are interesting, but I finished posting the photos from our road trip to Winnipeg, Canada. One day, two years ago, I was looking at a map of Minnesota and saw a small spoke where a bunch of roads met, just barely into Canada. A little research, and I found out it was actually a fairly large city. Having only seen Canada out the window of my plane as I flew to Europe, I thought I’d give it a shot.
My sister in law and her husband live about 20 miles from the Canadian border, so it was an ideal vacation destination. Take a look at the pics. I’m definitely crossing Winnipeg off my list of places to visit again. I’ll try Edmonton or Calgary next time though!
On a different note, BSQ Sitestats 1.1 was released early Friday morning. It’s available on Joomla’s dev site for your consumption.

Hey! Don’t write off Winnipeg just yet! Like many Canadian cities, Winnipeg is a place where you need to have someone from here take you around! Did you make it into the nicer areas like East St. Paul or just Downtown Winnipeg? Our downtown is kinda ghetto - unfortunatly - but theres tons of shopping and places to go down here

Hi Dave,
Thanks for stopping by. You’ll have to show us around next time we’re in the area. We mostly went downtown and to areas right around downtown on the other side of the river.
We did eat at the most authentic german restaurant outside of germany though, Gasthaus Gutenberger. It was worth the trip just for that!!
Let me know if you ever need a tour guide around minneapolis
