Rollerblading, NPR, and a new apartment
Wednesday, April 13th, 2005What a beautiful day outside! Great job, great girl, great health, great rollerblades. What more can a man ask for?
Bethany and I signed our lease for our new place on Saturday. I also picked up my tux for the wedding and picked out the band that I’d like Bethany to buy for me. On sunday, we taste tested with our caterer and semi-finalized our plans with her. WOW. It keeps going though :holyshit: :holyshit: :holyshit:. On Monday, we printed our invitations, and Bethany has been addressing them since my handwriting is worse than a monkey with a marker. It will be nice when the madness is over!
I found the coolest plugin for Firefox! It’s called ForecastFox, and it puts a weather forecast right in the lower-right corner of your screen. I know I get live weather data from work for free, but still…on my web browser….OOOOOOOOH.
I’ve also become an NPR nut. I hate top-40 radio, so I switched to NPR classical about 6 months ago. LOVE IT. A couple weeks ago, I tried out the talk/news station. That’s even better, and it’s not as biased as stupid TV news. PLUS, there are barely any commercials. Does the fact that I listen to public radio make me a weenie!? :wailing:
Time to take a shower after my 5-mile rollerblading session. Whhhhhooooooooosh goes Brent down the path! ![]()
