Happy New Year
Saturday, January 1st, 200517 days between blogs!? I can be excommunicated from the blog community for that! Happy New Year everyone.
I haven’t written much because Bethany’s back, and I’ve had a lot of vacation days in the last two weeks. It’s funny how you do LESS when you’re on vacation as far as free time stuff.
Things are going well here. I finished a couple projects on my new job just before Christmas. I’m getting more challenging projects every week, so I should be up to speed in a year or so. :thumbsup:
We went out last night for New Year’s downtown. Can you believe that they charge $20 to go to a meat party. Geesh? We had a great time dancing, etc, but it was a weeeee bit crowded. Afterward, we took the light rail home, but we realized that the next bus down Lake Street to Trevor’s was a half-hour away. We then walked 13 blocks in the freezing cold to Trevor’s place. A well deserved Captain-Coke was my reward to myself for surviving that excursion.
Today’s a low-key day. I’ll probably sit around and watch a movie to recover from the cold/beer/unending night. Take care everyone.
