Brittish Comedy In Action

Sunday, December 5th, 2004

This weekend started out pretty crappy, but it ended up being really good in the end.

On Friday, my 14-year-old dog was put to sleep. At least she didn’t feel any pain though. My mom called me right after it was done and told me the whole story. I’m glad that she’s in a better place with no pain now, but I’ll sure miss her at Christmas.

Speaking of missing at christmas, there is one person who I won’t miss at christmas!!!! Bethany will be home on Christmas eve, and will be spending the whole week with me from Christmas to New Year’s. It will be great to have her back, considering that I haven’t seen here since August 25th. I got to talk to her yesterday morning. When we talk, either I have to get up early or she does if it’s during the week.

On Friday night, Trevor, Andy, and I went to see National Treasure at the Eden Prairie theater. I secretly love that mall because of all the time I spent there. There are two theaters closer than EP, but I tend to go there for movies .

Saturday was equally fun. I went to Chipolte with Andy, and then we played some Duke3d. Later in the evening, I went to the Brittish commercial comedy awards, which were hilarious. My favorite commercials were the Trojan condom commercials where the people competed in the olympics. Ask me for details  Joseph from work was nice enough to host us all for dinner. After the show, I sat with Joseph and his wife, talking about politics. Fun stuff.

I borrowed Jon Stewart’s book, America, Democracy Inaction from Joseph. It is absolutely hilarious. I’ll post quotes from the book sometime soon. I can definitely see why it’s a best-seller.

I’m tired of writing for now. Drop me a line. :koolaid:
