It’s too cold for this time of year
Sunday, October 3rd, 2004Ok…I realize that this is MN, but come on! It’s soooooooooooo cold this weekend. I’ve been taking my time getting the pics up, so here is a pic from Germany. This is Daniel, Benny, and myself playing rummy: the German national card game.
It’s actually been a pretty interesting weekend. I went to the Twins game on Friday, and I actually took the light rail to get there. There is free parking at Ft. Snelling, which is about 5 miles from my house. I tell ya, the train was absolutely full going there AND back, and we even came back later than expeced. Anybody who says that train doesn’t get used should try riding it. :rolleyes:
I encourage everyone to try out the train. It’s inexpensive ($3 round trip as opposed to paying for parking), it’s fast, and you already paid for it with your federal taxes :grin:.
Yesterday was fun. I went up to UMD to visit my brother with my parents. I love the Olive Garden!
Today, I upgraded the database on my clan’s server and got the Mysql Query Caching working. It really is a lot cooler than it sounds. :koolaid: I should go now. I have plans for dinner (thanks Joseph). Laterz
