I went to Legoland in Guenzburg, Germany
Friday, September 3rd, 2004Legoland was a lot of fun. There were so many different buildings that they recreated in Legos, like Big Ben, the Stuttgart TV Tower (Fernsehturm), Castle Neuschwanstein, Hamburg Harbor (with working ships and all!!), downtown Berlin with love parade going on. I ended up taking 80+ pictures from the park which will all be posted once I get home. I didnt know until the very end, but Benny always brings a gift home for his parents whenever they let him go on vacation. We bought Marion a flower made out of Legos, and we bought Pit a Legoland mug. I ended up buying a few postcards and a Lego doll for my desk at work.
We took the train to the park, but the Hessenauers picked us up afterward since the train was a little expensive (11 EU one way). That meant that we got to ride on the Autobahn. I always like riding on the Autobahn, but it makes me a little scared at the same time. There are people who always insist on driving as fast as possible for as long as possible, even when it is rush hour. We have the same behavior, but keep in mind that we dont drive 100 MPH on 494.
Last night was much like a lot of nights at the Hessenauer’s place. We played rummy and drank beer. I actually won at rummy last night, which is pretty good, considering that I just learned the game last Thursday. I think I have been drinking way too much here because I always feel a bit dehydrated when I wake up. Past schon.
I think Im going to relax today. I’ve been very active this week, and after all, it is my vacation. Maybe I’ll go for a run in the mountains or just go shopping in the city. I dont care.
Until next time. Same bat time. Same bat channel. :joker:
