Instead of their own pools, Germans use community ones
Wednesday, September 1st, 2004Well, I started to write a blog yesterday, but I pushed some stupid key combination and erased the contents of my entry that I was typing. I need to look into how to prevent that when I get back :dunce:.
On Tuesday, Benny and I went to the indoor swimming pool. They had two indoor slides, a large pool, two outdoor pools for wading, and a diving pool. I did my first 5m dive and was very careful not to belly flop. That would have hurt a little bit. :shudder: Benny accidentally fell when he was running off one of the shorter boards. It was entertaining to watch, but I tried to hold my laughs to be polite. I got a nice cut on my back too from one of those cement mushrooms with the water spouts. I got too close to it when I was horsing around with Benny, and I scraped my back on it. I have a nice scab there now.
Today, I’m going to Legoland in Guenzburg. My train leaves at 9:30, so I should go get ready. Miss all of you and see you in a week! :koolaid:
